Acceptable Use and Reporting
Last updated: 8 November 2026
Anyone can publish on Drop Your Site, so we need clear rules to keep it safe for everyone. Sites that break these rules are removed.
1. What is not allowed
- Phishing and scams. Pages that imitate a bank, brand, login page or government service, or that trick people into giving up passwords, payment details or personal data.
- Malware. Anything designed to harm devices, steal data, secretly mine cryptocurrency or run unwanted software.
- Spam and deception. Link farms, fake shops, fake reviews, doorway pages or mass-produced misleading content.
- Illegal content. Anything unlawful where we or you operate, including child sexual abuse material, which we report to authorities.
- Harassment, hate and threats aimed at people or groups.
- Infringement. Content you do not have the right to publish, including copyrighted work and trademarks used to mislead.
- Misleading addresses. Site addresses that imitate another company or a login, bank or government service. We may refuse, change or remove any address.
- Abusing the service. Hosting large downloads, running attacks, or using the Service as a file-sharing or proxy tool.
We run automated checks on published sites to spot these things, and a person reviews anything that is flagged.
2. Report a site
Found something that breaks these rules? Use our report form, or email support@dropyoursite.com with:
- The full address of the site (for example name.dropyoursite.com),
- What is wrong, and a screenshot if you can,
- Your name and email so we can follow up (optional for scams and malware).
We review reports quickly. Phishing, malware and illegal content are removed first and questions asked afterwards.
3. What happens next
We may disable the site, remove files, close the account and report serious cases to authorities or affected brands. Where safe to do so we will tell the site owner what happened. Owners can reply to appeal if they believe a mistake was made.
4. Repeat and serious breaches
We may end accounts without refund for serious or repeated breaches. See our Terms and Refund Policy.
