Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This policy explains what information Bizgens Services Limited, which operates Drop Your Site ("we", "us"), collects when you use dropyoursite.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible.
1. What we collect
- Files you upload. The website files, pages, images and code you drop or paste. Everything you publish is public on the internet at your site's address.
- Technical data. Our network provider, Cloudflare, processes visitor IP addresses, browser type and request details to deliver, secure and protect the service.
- Account details. If you sign in, we keep your email address and the sites linked to your account. We sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email, so we do not store passwords.
- Payment details (when payments are available). Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the last four digits.
- Advertising pixel. Our public pages use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how our ads perform, for example when someone puts a site online or buys a plan. It may set cookies and share page-visit and event data with Meta. It is not used on the sites you publish. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or tracking-protection tools.
- Messages. Anything you send us, such as support emails or abuse reports.
2. How we use it
- To host and show your site and to run the service.
- To prevent abuse such as phishing, malware and spam, and to act on reports. This includes automated checks of the pages you publish, using simple rules and an AI model on Cloudflare's Workers AI. Sites the checks flag are reviewed by a person before any action is taken.
- To process payments, send receipts and answer support requests.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your uploaded files for advertising.
3. Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies. If you sign in, we set one strictly necessary cookie (named __Host-sid) to keep you signed in for up to 30 days; signing out removes it. If we add analytics we will update this page. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers when you visit.
4. Who we share it with
- Cloudflare for hosting, storage, delivery and security.
- Stripe for payment processing (when payments are available).
- Resend to deliver your sign-in emails.
- Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.
5. How long we keep it
Published sites stay online until you clear them, they are removed for breaking our Acceptable Use Policy, or the service ends. Server logs are kept for a short period for security. We also keep a log of uploads, renames and deletions (which account, which site name, and when, but not the files themselves) to investigate abuse, even after a site is cleared or your account is deleted. Records of payments are kept as long as tax law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to have your site removed, by emailing support@dropyoursite.com. Depending on where you live (for example New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, or the GDPR in Europe) you may have further rights, including to complain to your local privacy regulator.
7. Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, so please do not publish passwords, private keys or other secrets inside your website files.
8. Children
The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders by email.
10. Contact
